![]() ![]() The best pack for you, be it expansion, game or stuff pack and even kits, really depends on how you like to play. It was explained at the launch that going forward EA would likely just release one kit at a time. One focused on create a sim (Throwback Fit), one on build/buy mode (Country Kitchen) and one on Game Play (Bust the Dust). Three different types of kits were released at launch. Kits are seen as mini collections that focus on one thing and are considered very niche and they aren’t expected to appeal to everyone. I attach a screenshot from EA’s site summarizing the difference between the original three types of packs, as well as a link to their site. The original three types are expansion, game and stuff pack with the fourth type, kits, being added in March 2021. Keep in mind there are four types of packs, or DLC (downloadable content) for The Sims 4.
